Emolga Pattern

I decided to wanted to make an Emolga awhile ago, but I was almost out of white yarn. When I finally got more, I realized my sister's cat destroyed all my black yarn (thanks, Milo), so I just made a shiny one (which was probably better, because I had a lot more brown yarn than I knew what to do with). I know she's missing the white in her ears, but I really wanted to get her done last night and I was super tired. I'll probably get around to it eventually. Maybe. Anyway, as always, any questions, feel free to ask.

Cut face from felt, or embroider one, if that's your style.

While I'm not fortunate enough to own Pokemon or Emolga (those lucky ducks at Nintendo do), this pattern is my brain child. Please don't sell anything made from it (although if it's for charity it's cool), and give credit where it's due if you make him.

  1. Hi Tiffanny!! Thank you so much for this pattern! My 4 year old thanks you too! :) I have a question though. I have done the head and just completed all the stitches for the body. However, my body does not seem as elongated as the one in the picture. I have completed all the rounds and double checked that I did everything right. What size hook did you use? I have a somewhat smaller hook so that could be the issue. Also, when I finished the body I stuffed it and it seems the last row leaves this body wide open. Do I sew the open side to the head or do I need to close it up more when I fasten off in order to hide the stuffing? I am new to making animals out of crochet so I know it is just my ignorance. :) If you could offer some help when you are available I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!
