Teddiursa Pattern


(My sister stole my original Teddiursa. I could only get pictures of #2, the shiny one.)

Materials:
WW yarn, in light/orangish brown & dark brown (green & black for a shiny one) and cream
G hook
Stuffing
Felt or other face making supplies

Head (light brown/green):
R1: sc 6 in magic ring
R2: 2sc in each (12)
R3: sc in next, 2sc in next around (18)
R4: sc in next 2, 2sc in next around (24)
R5: sc in next 3, 2sc in next around (30)
R6-10: sc in each
R11: sc in next 3, dec over next 2 around (24)
R12: sc in next 2, dec over next 2 around (18); I started stuffing here
R13: sc in next, dec over next 2 around (12)
R14: dec over next 2 around (6)
F/O

Body (light brown/green):
R1: sc 6 in magic ring
R2: 2sc in each (12)
R3: sc in next, 2sc in next around (18)
R4: sc in next 2, 2sc in next around (24)
R5-10: sc in each
R11: sc in next 2, dec over next 2 around (18)
R12: sc in next 4, dec over next 2 around (15)
F/O and stuff

Arms (2 in light brown/green):
R1: sc 4 in magic ring
R2: sc in next sc, 2sc in next around (6)
R3-7: sc in each
R8: sc in next 3, turn (3)
R9: sc in first sc, dec over next 2 (2)
F/O; stuff lightly

Feet (2 in light brown/green):
R1: sc 4 in magic ring
R2: 2sc in each (8)
R3-6: sc in each
F/O; stuff lightly


Tail (light brown/green):
R1: sc 5 in magic ring
R2: 2sc in each (10)
R3: sc in next sc, 2sc in next around (15)
R4-5: sc in each
R6: sc in next sc, dec over next 2 (10)
F/O; stuff

Ears (start with dark brown/black):
R1: sc 6 in magic ring
R2: 2sc in each; switch to light brown/green in last sc
R3: sc in next, 2sc in next around (18)
R4: sc in next 2, 2sc in next around (24)
R5: sc in each
R6: sc in next 2, dec over next 2 around (18); I started stuffing here
R7: sc in next, dec over next 2 around (12)
R8: dec over next 2 around (6)
F/O; draw yarn through stitches and pull closed

Mouth (cream):
R1: sc 6 in magic ring
R2: sc in next 2 sc, 2hdc in next around (8)
R3: sc in next 3 sc, 2hdc in next sc around (10)
F/O

Moon:
Ch 14; F/O

Attach body parts as shown. Add a face (you can do a real mouth; I had some trouble, so I just sewed the hands over it), and you're done!

I don't own Teddiursa or Pokemon. Nintendo does. I do, however, own this pattern. Please don't try to pass it off as your own, or sell anything you make from it. Feel free to link to it!

  2. In R8 for the arms, sc in next 3, turn. What does turn means? Should I need to turn my work? Plz reply!
